Welcome! I am a UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the Travers Department of Political Science at UC Berkeley. I am on the job market for the 2026-2027 academic year.
My research focuses on the politics of race and racism in international law and relations. In my dissertation and book project, I examine norms and agreements between states as legal outcomes of racial hierarchy in world politics. My work is published in the Annual Review of Political Science, Security Studies, International Studies Review, Politics, Groups, and Identities, and International Politics.
My teaching interests include international law, international relations (IR) theory, and race in IR. Course and teaching descriptions are available here.
I received my Ph.D. and M.A. from the Department of Political Science at UC San Diego, and an M.P.P. and B.A. from UC Riverside.
